The install.dat problem which breaks portability although you quoted Zenju that it should be solved with v8.1. Strange.

Version 8.1 is still affected from this limitation. Really sad :/

FreeFileSync is a great tool no doubt but i have to agree with zlhnxqgf & ayuanx. If you want to keep your good reputation please keep things open source. And the silent updating of a version is really annoying. Now there is a 3rd Version of 8.0 signed on 20 March. That's just confusing for ever...
