Can someone clearly explain the difference between the ffs_gui and ffs_batch file types? In what cases should I save as an ffs_gui file, and in what cases as an ffs_batch file? Thanks for the help.

Plerry

Opening ffs_gui files opens (surprize, surprize ...) the FFS GUI (Graphical User Interface) with the setting stored in the ffs_gui-file.
The compare and sync only start upon user interaction.

Opening ffs_batch files runs the compare and sync as specified in the ffs_batch-file in FFS without presenting the user the GUI or requiring other user interaction.
If specified in the ffs_batch-file, a progress window might be presented and depending on how error handling is specified for that sync, the user might be prompted about, and how to handle errors that might have ocurred.

Thanks Plerry. You have shed light on the subject for me.
