I really like the FreeFileSync app, and as such purchased the donation edition, but it seems to be pretty problematic.
I cannot get it to stop asking me for updates on every startup, and since restoring a backup recently now I get this error message, that I can't clear.
Why does it feel like the donation edition is more of a PITA than a thank you for putting money towards such an excellent app?

Did you reinstall or update your OS a couple of times? It's hard to check "user count" in practice, so FFS currently just assumes that a single user probably doesn't use more than about 6 different devices. Anyway, I've reset your activation count, so things should work now.
