I would like to know how many parallel file operations (PFO) I can run at once? FFS is installed on my NVME, and I'm comparing by "File Content" (rather than File and Size) with my EXO drive (master) to Barracuda @22 PFO's. This is only covering 4.2tb of data currently, but took 26hr to finish from first comparison. Does Parallel File Operations only apply to sync, how does it function practically (i have read the PFO FAQ page on FFS). Is there potential dangers with higher PFOs? Should I be careful about transferring data while the comparison is running on the drive (or syncing to it)?
