when setting up a defined configuration to be executed periodically as a scheduled task, it there a way to make sure the source and target paths are "locked" to a specific drive volume id?

It is especially troublesome in Windows for USB-mounted volumes. Depending on the existence and sequence of mounting various drives, the Windows-assigned drive letter (e.g. "F:") can vary. If the FreeFileSync configuration has been configured and saved for a specific drive letter, the actual volume of the source or target drive cannot be known and controlled absolutely for successive scheduled executions of the sync.

In Windows, I know that the ID of a mounted volume can be known/discovered. Is that ability supported in FreeFileSync? And if so, how is this navigated in the "Browse" dialog in order to make sure the source and target volumes of a sync are known absolutely for every scheduled run?
