error on time stamp earlier than 1970. bug?

I am using File Sync for a few days and so far it’s working great.

Though, I am modelling old pictures and exchanged the dates of creation for those pictures. The comparision has problems with pictures, if you put a date bevor 1970 and proclaims those pictures as invalid date marking it with a conflict sign (electric symbol)

e.g. Date 1968.02.01 won't work, but 1970.02.01

Shouldn't be a problem as far as FFS is concerned. File systems however have different constraints, most notably FAT (requires dates >= 1980)
