Managing folder pairs

I have two folder pairs set up. Each pair is listed in the Overview at the left of the panel. I want each pair to be independent of the other, i.e., to compare/sync them at different times. How do I get just one pair to sync?

Save the sync of each of the two pairs as separate syncs.
And then in the left Configuration pane select (only) the relevant sync and run it.
