hi community,

at first thanks for this great programm.
we currently use it on 2 devices wich 2-way-sync
from the server. When we are syncing the same
folder we get problems with database files.
Is there a way to solve this?
Might the donation-version support this as suggested in
https://freefilesync.org/manual.php?topic=performance
We are uncertain what this actually means if its one client syncing
multiple synchronisations or multiple clients accessing the same folder.

kind regards

Multiple syncs to/with the same location should be fine and not create FFS database-file problems.
See here.
But those multiple syncs need to be run successively, not simultaneously.

Problems with the FFS database files (*.ffs_db) or other types of database files?
What sort of problems?

FFS should be creating a LOCK file that prevents more than one sync at the same time. As plerry asked, what are the problems with the database files? The FFS db files, or database files for some other software?
The donation edition does not sound like the solution. The parallel threads is for network locations with per-thread limits.
