Advice for New User

Hello, My name is BilI. I am changing my FileBackup procedure, Robocopy, on Windows 10 Pro. I have installed FreeFileSync and looked at its Video Tutorials. I have not yet used FreeFileSync.

I would be most grateful for help in configuring the App to achieve the following.

The features I would like are:
1 Create an Alias for an external drive to cope with PC changing drive letters.
Some destination folders may be larger than their corresponding source folders due to the following:
2 Copy new folders to appropriate destination folders;
3 Copy new files to appropriate destination folders;
4 Copy changed files in source and replace them in appropriate destination folders;
5 Deleted folders in source are NOT deleted in the destination folders and
6 Deleted files, (that have not been edited), in source are NOT deleted in the destination folder.

Use a volume name instead of a drive letter:

Note that in Windows, if you assign a high enough drive letter to a drive, it may act as a semi-permanent drive letter (even for removable devices).

Like my Corsair is K: & My Western Digital is W:. (Both are high enough for me.)
