Trouble syncing two folders realtime

This is incredibly simplistic and I apologize if it seems silly, but I've
searched through this entire forum and still do not understand..

I downloaded and installed ver 3.20. pointed to a directory on the left, then
pointed to a directory on the right. Did a compare, then automatic sync, then
voila! all the infos for both files synced perfectly. I was then able to add
and delete files and it would immediately propagate those files to the other
folder and vice versa. Everything was perfect. Then I started to play around
and lost real time syncing and am not able to get it back. I can manually sync
by clicking the button, but no longer is it syncing realtime. I've deleted the
db files to have them recreate themselves but still nothing.

Can anyone suggest to me what I may be overlooking in regards to real time
syncing? Sorry again for this noobish post.

Nevermind I figured it out. I configured and ran a batch file with
RealTimeSync.exe.

What phases me is I got real time syncing without doing this right out of the
box.
