Re: Skip syncing a file which is changing
Did you try disabling "copy locked files" in global settings? And if that doesn't work, have you tried increasing the relevant RealTimeSync job's "idle time"? (Idle time is the delay between the time RealTimeSync notices a change in a monitored folder and the time it launches the associated ...

Re: RealtimeSync Auto Pause Feature Request
It's a blunt instrument that affects manually run "foreground" FreeFileSync tasks as well as ones automatically run "in background" by RealTimeSync, but would opening FreeFileSync's GlobalSettings.xml file (after temporarily quitting all of your RealTimeSync and FreeFileSync tasks) and changing ...

Re: Automatically sync multiple folders, but selective folders, with RealTimeSync?
Update: My third tip might be wrong. I've been reading back chronologically through the topics in this forum, and unless something has changed, a FreeFileSync job will not process files that are added to its lower/later folder pairs by higher/earlier folder pairs in the course of the a given run. However, the comparison stage of ...

Re: Automatically sync multiple folders, but selective folders, with RealTimeSync?
I've never synced three computers using FreeFileSync, only two. But as no one else has responded, I'll share my ideas. If I've overlooked something important, I hope someone with more experience will chime in.
The following assumes that you will be doing TWO-WAY syncing.

Re: FFS/RTS really slows down mouse movement
This is a strange one. When FFS or RTS is actively syncing files, I've noticed that the movement of my mouse really becomes laggy and jittery and the mouse response slows way down. At first I thougth that FFS was slowing the whole computer down, but that isn't the case looking at the task manager ...
