I synchronize a 32 bit machine with a 64 bit machine. I have FreeFileSync
installed on both machines. It however creates databases with different
filenames when run on the two machines -- _sync.x64.ffs_db_ and _sync.ffs_db_.
This is problematic because if I sync from 32 bit machine, the x64.ffs_db ...

Re: Error writing to synchronization database
It worked. Sorry. It WAS an access-denied issue. I am administrator and have
full control over F:. Yet, SOMEHOW, FreeFileSync was not running with
administrator privileges and so was getting access denied.

By the way, am using Windows 7 64 bit.

Error writing to synchronization database
It at first says no database exists. I ignore (assuming this will create the

Next it says:
Error writing to synchronization database:
"F:\sync.ffs_db.tmp"
Ignore this error, retry or abort synchronization?
Please help!
