What I'm suggesting is a breakdown post scan to see what file types are there.
it'll be similar to WinDirStat that gives a listing of what file types are on the system, but this one would be to see what file types are available ...

I'd like to suggest that after the scan, we get a breakdown of the many extensions of files found. From that list I can either include or exclude based on those extensions.

Oh wow. I didn't realise that is what it does. There's no way in hell I'll enable email notification if it's going through a third party SMTP server.

Sadly, I too have this problem. It works fine with SMB, but for added security I switched over to FTPES recently and noticed these sporadic errors. In one directory for example, all but one file was versioned. The other modified files are there, but that one file is missing.
