Commenting our includes/excludes filters is indeed sometimes important for later maintenance.
I just tested using ## or in fact any other non-existing path seems "tolerated" by FFS with neither errors nor stopped behaviour. Maybe not the cleanest solution but usable today.

Great idea xCSxXenon, indeed it uses the excluded list inside FFS, "reverse it" and allows to identify and remove all those files. This is a very good workaround.

I understood searching the forum [1] that by design once you add Exclude filter paths existing target files are just ignored forever and left as they are (not removed). This may be desired in some cases. But the way I use it is that I find additional path which I consider safe not to backup anymore ...
