locking directories
IS the directory locked while freefilesync compares the two directories? For
some reason I cannot open the directory until I abort or it finishes. It also
makes it so no one can save a file in the directory while the syncronization
is going on. Is there a way to not lock it while it is syncronizing?

I really hope it isn't against the rules to comment on an old post, but I have the exact same question. In the new version is there a way automatically only check files that were modified today? I am syncronizing 2 directories with over 550,000 word documents in them and it takes a long time to comp...
