Recursing Subdirectories

FFS is a great little program that I have not only recommended to many people but have also installed on many computers. This past weekend, I ran it on my file server to make a backup on a second shared driver on my home network. FFS indicated that there were no files to copy. Here is an example of ...

Re: Error parsing configuration file-HandleSymlin

All I have done is update FFS as I have become aware of the availability of
the update. The ffs_gui files in question are dated 01/03/2011. Is there a way

Thanks for the great program!

Date Sync Question

Music files on one drive are synced with the same files on a network drive. For some reason, the same songs on the two drives have different dates. (It's not a FFS-caused problem.) Other than copying the files with the newer date on top of the files with the older date, is there a way to sync the ti...

Using FFS to Consolidate Photos

My multiple hard drives have family pictures in multiple folders all over the drives. I would like to copy all photos in whatever folder to a single shared folder on my home server WITHOUT maintaining the folder structure. It is highly unlikely that two different pictures have the same name. The rul...

sync.ffs_db

Every time I run a compare, I get the error message below. How do I get it to stop appearing, other than Ignore, which doesn't seem to be the best solution. I assume it is there for a valid reason. Initial synchronization. Please verify default copy-directions! (No database file existing yet: "...
