Re: Dark mode
For me the lack of this feature personally has

- the inability to make use of energy saving and hardware conservation on oled
When I was running into this I consulted this forum to understand if it was just me.

Re: File "modified" date/time changed
So, I completed my testing.
I am running 13.6 64Bit at the moment.
I copied a local file from 2023 on my Win 11 23H2 PC into a folder that has been setup for FFS.
The local copy did not change the modified date as expected.
The FFS rule is set to sync with my NAS via SMB share.

Re: File "modified" date/time changed
Hi CCoolname, xCSxXenon,
I noticed the problem after upgrading to 13.1 when syncing to smb shares from my Win 11 PCs.
For me it was fixed in the 13.2 beta and as such in the 13.2 final release.
I must admit I failed to pay close attention on the possibilty of a re-introduction of the issue.

*bump* two more FFS updates have been released since I last checked on dark mode status. Dark Mode is not yet included in FFS. Yet it is one of the most requested, commented and viewed features in the forum.

Re: [Feature Request] Keep Modified Date Identical
There was a bug in 13.2 if I remember correctly that caused this behaviour for me when syncing to my NAS.
Other users reported it as well and 13.3 fixed the issue for us.
Which version are you experiencing this issue with?

Dark Mode for FFS fans
Dear FFS fans,
there are many ways to copy and syncronize data, yet we are here with FFS for its simplicity and reliability.
One thing I would love to see though is a dark mode to be able to bring the intensity of the UI down to what the rest of my systems look like.
Glaring into the bright white ...

Hello xCSxXenon,
in that case I have to thank you even more for voluntary providing your support to forum visitors.
Your initial tip from post #2 of reverting to a lower version to check if this would change the behavior was so helpful and pointed in the right direction so quickly.

Re: File "modified" date/time changed
For me this is the first time I did interact with the forum for an actual issue that is not only cosmetic but decides wether I could use FFS productively or not.

Re: File "modified" date/time changed
Sounds like a BUG
@Zenju Anything you can think of that would lead to this behavior? Maybe another weird Apple thing since that is all too common?
Please keep in mind that sr21ffs reporting the issue in general discussion and varez in this thread are reporting the issue on macos.
But I am ...

Re: File "modified" date/time changed
Thinking about this maybe it is possible to turn this bug into a feature of selecting if original dates/times should be synced or if sync time should be used.
I could see a use case for each one of those scenarios if optional.

Hello All,
I came here because I am facing the same issue on FreeFileSync 64- Bit 13.1 on Windows.
So far synced files would have the same timestamps as the source files.
This is true for:

- date modified
- last accessed
