I have one FFS_Batch for C:\Folder, excluded C:\Foder\Subfolder,
second FFS_Batch for C:\Folder\Subfolder.

I wonder if it is not against RealTimeSync philosophy, but what about
implement it there too? Maybe create some checkbox there, if not natively..?
I use RTS a lot, on desktop I have 10 instances on startup, so still, I can't
remove login through batch here.

First, sorry for possible confuse-named folder Public. It is accessible
through public username and pass, so it is not quite as public as one might
think..

Now error sequence:
1. Error calling WNetGetResourceInformation: 67 for directory \\MYBOOKWORLD\Public
2. Error calling WNetAddConnection2 ...

sorry, almost same error.. :) But I think 53 means pretty much the same as 67
in our case?

It is very strange, since in explorer it works. I also tried NET command - it

Ok, it throws this error, twice for one comparison.

It is still not working for me, maybe I am doing something wrong:
- boot system
- launch FFS
- on left side i type \\MYBOOKWORLD\dir; on right side C:\dir
- click compare, but only error notification shows, telling me "Directory does not exist"

If I copy left side path to explorer, it fires ...

I installed your new beta version, but it seems not working for me. Maybe
because I actually have not mapped network drive - I am using "\\NETWORKNAME\"
prefix. Is it supported too?

Synchronization with password-protected network share will always fail, if
user didn't manually login before.
Do you plan to add default OS login fire event, if user is not logged already?
I handle it by batch file now, but it would be great if I, and anybody else,
didn't have to.. :)

Problem with Windows Error Code 58 Solved!

It was really Samba-related. I updated Samba from 3.0.2.5 to 3.5.11, and it
works ok now.
If I will face "basic_string::resize" error again, I will send "exception.dmp"
to you.

One of my ".ffs_batch" files contains variable %date% in target directory, as
I want only to backup each 3rd day to unique destination (using Update mode).
However, when I launch FFS, it wont create that folder, and throw error
"directory does not exist".
Do I have to create batch script for this ...

Before FFS v3.22_beta6 I was using v3.21.

It was at PC's location, not NAS.

I took "FreeFileSync_v3.22_beta6_setup.exe" from this topic https://freefilesync.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=885 and retested it:
Behavior is now quite same, except the number of errors throwed:

Still, is it possible to disable UNC transformation? When using for example
WebDrive, it mounts FTP to drive latter, but also to UNC. So then, FFS trys to
get to target location by UNC, but it is somehow not possible to reach it that
way.. :(

I can't believe my NAS is guilty for this. What setting could make such
problems?

I did some testing, please read details:
- I set 3 sets of test: NAS on my network, "simulated-NAS" on my local drive, "simulated-NAS" on notebook connected via network.

I am trying to sync my PC and Laptop through middlepoint, that is my NAS.
However, when there is synchronization active on, let's say PC (PC<->NAS), and
Laptop is online and has active RealTimeSync ...

SOLVED!

It was Adobe Photoshop CS4 related problem. How I solved it:
1) goto Control Panel
2) Uninstall a Program
3) Doubleclick Adobe Photoshop CS4
4) Choose Adobe Drive CS4 component and uninstall
5) Restart, and you are done! :)

I am very happy user of FreeFileSync, but after 3 days of batch scripting, my
final script can't be properly done.
The problem is situated in FTP mapped to drive letter.
When mount my FTP drive and set, let's say, my right site to s:\something,
right above this textbox is my path ...
