For 99% of my files 'File time and size' compare is fine but now I have a
program (an encryption) that doesn't update the time/date code when it access
a contained file. I really don't want to change to 'File Content' just to deal
with a single file nor move away from the near one click method that ...

Compiling on Centos 6.3 (old gcc)
After a system rebuild and partial upgrade was hoping to be able to run
FreeFileSync from linux rather than the vmware windows session which is what I
was previously doing. However I'm running Centos 6.3 and am very hesitant to
try and upgrade gcc to due to other reasons.
Anyone know if it is ...

Re: Sync 2 folders on different locations
Okay.. thought the guys there was having the same issue and the workaround was
to have multiple databases.
If it worked with the single database spread over the three locations that'd
be fine with me.
I now get 'Incompatible sychronization database format: "...."" Setting

Re: Sync 2 folders on different locations
Was trying to work out if the easiest option might just be to revert back to
the version before the x64 db rename and found a feature request (Option to
change database filename in GUI and BATCH settings - ID: 2963611) where I
think you explain how what used to work for me came into existence ...

Re: Sync 2 folders on different locations
Sorry, might not have made myself clear. Also not exactly sure if it'll work
but here goes anyhow.
Three data sources. A, B & C. Two pairs of sync databases.
In this case A is sync'd to B and B is sync'd to C.
There would exist one sync.ffs_db for the A-B sync. Let's call it
sync_AB.ffs_db ...

Re: Sync 2 folders on different locations
Interesting. I had been doing this for quite some time successfully and only
recently did I start getting errors reported due to the incompatible format of
the sync db. Came here to check what had changed.
