Re: Multiple folder pairs write to a common subfolder.
Thank you. I want to sync only in one direction, from source/left to target/right.The source/left contains thousands of folders and millions of files. Are you saying that FFS will not sync that way? I'm not sure what you mean when you say "not the (deepest level) source/left folder itself". Thanks ...

Millions Of Files
Will FreeFileSync work with a source drive containing millions of files? I want to run FreeFileSync in a production environment with a large and busy file server as the source and I have no way to test it first. I plan to use RealtimeSync and just point FreeFileSync to the root of the data drive ...

Multiple folder pairs write to a common subfolder.

LockDirectoriesDuringSync unclear
Hello: The help for FreeFileSync says that LockDirectoriesDuringSync "allows to operate FreeFileSync with an arbitrary number of users in a network out of the box.". Does "users" refer to users of FreeFileSync or does it refer to any users on the network doing anything at all? I don't understand ...

Copy locked files Option
Hello: Does the "Copy locked files" option in FreeFileSync cause any file or folder locking, or degrade performance on the source? I want to use FreeFileSync to copy from a network share to local storage. The network share has hundreds of thousands of files and is used by hundreds of people ...
