Examples for using running statistics:

- If I can see that the number of mismatching files grows at the same rate as the number of investigated files (ie. they are all different) then I may figure out I selected wrong directories to compare.

- If I can see there has been 10 errors out of 10k ...

@Plerry this setting needs to be done _before_ I start FreeFileSync. If I forget to set it, I cannot do it later on. If I do it every time, it slows down every time, if if I would run it faster. That is, this doesn't solve the problem I have.

The comparison process reduces disk performance, obviously. That's why I would like to pause the comparison while doing some other disk-intensive activity and resume it later on.

Unfortunately, I cannot do this right now. I can Cancel the comparison and start it from the scratch later on but it ...

I use FFS for comparing huge directories with thousands of files and hundreds of gigabytes. Therefore, the comparison lasts for several hours.

Therefore, it seems that the feature I asked for is not a "where is this feature?" question but more like a "can I get this feature, please?" question.

I would like to copy the name of the selected files (and some other data) from the Overview panel. The right-click menu of the selected file(s) would be a meaningful place to have commands like these but unfortunately, they are not there:

- copy filename
- copy filename with full path
- copy ...
