I found out the new host had a DDOS protection that was preventing my FTP from loading/scanning that large file count folder. With this protection removed I can now scan 900k-1.2m files in a matter of seconds. The problem now is that my delete process is 11 items/sec So Im running for 20+ hours at a ...

Digging up this old post. The FTP I'm going through is deleting 11 items/sec. Some past FTP connections have let me remove up to 24/second.

I'm deleting ~900k-1.2m files and man I really dont like waiting 20 hours for this to finish. Is there any way I can speed this up?

Nada huh? I dont know why one host would let me scan in seconds where it takes my new server 10 minutes for the same folder.
