I don't think that kind of write caching is common, the kind where you have an actual separate ssd to buffer writes, but even then you could just measure how busy the drive is as stated it shows in task manager % busy and response time. This isn't impossible technology.

Ended upping it to 16 threads, 10Gbps usb limiting the backup destination of qlc pny 2241 drives, pegged at 100% drive activity in taskmanager performance tab.

I wonder how high is optimal for ssd to ssd backup vs ssd to harddrive. I'm currently trying 8 as it seems safe.

Drives can be folder mounts, especially on windows where drive letters are so limited.
Going through deep folder trees to prune takes many clicks, which is the problem.

When a drive gets full during sync it comes up with the prompt window to ignore or cancel, but it would be more useful if it also had a button to open explorer to the folder in question so the user could quickly resolve the problem.
