UPDATE 2:
No way found to prevent FreeFileSync from freezing the LINUX System.
Work around: uninstall FreeFileSync on LINUX and use Meld and Grsync instead. No as handy as FreeFileSync but working with no prblems.

I've found a way to mount the partition in question again, but the problem with system freeze caused by FreeFileSync continues.

Linux version: complete sytem freeze
Tested out FreeFileSync V14.5_x86_64_04.102025 on Linux Mint 22.1 to sync 2 directories on 2 different NTFS partitions on 2 different disks (from ID3 to ID1 in system information, approx. 200MB to copy/delete for the sync).
