I am unclear just what was wrong, but I have found a partial remedy. I uninstalled FFS completely and removed all the batch files. I downloaded the Supporter Edition again and reinstalled it. I then walked through the recreation of each batch job.

FFS keeps restoring files and folders that have been moved and renamed. FFS keeps the new names and locations while restoring the old files with the old names and old locations.

Yes, I have looked for the sync.ffs_db file. I have deleted those files. And FFS keeps doing the same thing ...
