Okay I may say I cannot be absolute sure - that it was a Automatic Sync I did
- This was the first sync with my "new" program FFS.
But i can see that there is no problemes with moved files in all my others
sync
Thanks a lot for your reply

Moved Files
Can FFS handle/ monitoring "Moved Files"?
I mean: Will FFS be able to know which files I have moved to other
places/folders - so FFS will delete the files from the back up (i.e.from the
"right side") and add the files to new folders on the Back up (i.e. to the
"right side")
Now FFS is working ...

Re: Comparing to SyncToy
Thanks for the reply -
> If you delete the "sync.ffs_db" file, it's not that big of a problem, since
FFS will behave like on first sync, i.e copy files that exist on one side to
the other and copy newer over older files
But then - I guess - FLS are not any-more able to delete any files ...

Comparing to SyncToy
Microsoft SyncToy is not working if If you accidentally delete a ".DAT"-file
in a folder which have beed synced
Do FreefileSync also place that kind of files around in the folders?
If not - Could it have some kinds of negative consequences not setting files
like the .DAT-files
in a folder which have beed synced
