It happened again yesterday copying htm files to my Lexar USB flash drive. I was able to have the file removed by running another sychronization program but this is not acceptable. I am unable to delete the file manually without resorting to re-booting the machine.

Any response on this?

I had the same problem occur today. Is there a workaround for this issue? The file in question was being copied from my C drive to a Lexar USB flash drive. This is becoming a bit of a nuisance.

Any progress on this front? I checked my log folder and there were over 13,000 entries! It needs to be an option that I can select somewhere. I am using version 8.1.

Well, I have narrowed down the problem. It appears that RealTimeSync crashes when I have my Roots Magic ancestry database open and doing updates to the database. Otherwise, RealTimeSync stays up and running.

Well there have been no crashes since May 3rd. The only thing I have really changed in Windows 10 is to turn off the 'Fast Startup' option. I don't know whether this was causing the problem or not. Not sure exactly when I should be running Process Explorer. RealTimeSync has not abended so far today. Do I need to wait until an abend has occurred and then produce the dump?

I guess I am missing something here. I have no filters set and I have asked to mirror one drive to another. To me this means making an exact copy - not having the program arbitrarily deciding which files to exclude. If there are symlinks on the original then they should be copied to the other drive....
