I'm getting those errors too on Linux Mint. They come from trying to install from the repositories.

I get the same error under Windows 10. If I try to delete the sync.ffs_lock file it immediately gets re-created by the program and the program is constantly in waiting for the file to be gone. So it's impossible to synchronize.
