The issue occurs when running from Windows Server 2008 R2. When I run it on the 2003 server and push to the 2008 R2 server it runs at normal speed (~8MB/sec over 100Mbit). So the problem occurs when pulling from an SMB share on 2003 to a local 2008 R2 folder. I hope this helps.

I am also having the same issue. Windows copy works at several MB/sec over a 100Mbit connection and FFS is running at 10-200KB/sec. It is also not processing files very fast so the issue isn't that I have a ton of very small files. I am guessing something changed in a new version, it never used to ...
