Hi,
It would be goot to sync without database file (sync.ffs_db).
I do not use "compare by content", it is enough for me to sync by file date.
In fact one of my sources is read only and FFS warns me in the log, that it was not able to create db file. ...

I have the same issue. I would need only a big log with the following entries:
<date> <time> info: file created <filename_with_path> (from <filename_with_path>)
<date> <time> info: file updated <filename_with_path> (from <filename_with_path>)
<date> <time> info: file deleted <filename_with_path ...
