But changed files seems to be a general problem with SharePoint, it is unclear when they are changed.

This seems to happen when uploading readonly files, if the readonly attribute is not set the date is preserved.

When using freefilsync to copy a file to sharepoint via the webclient in windows 7 is the file date not preserved. The file get the date from when it was copied.
But when copying a file manually, in explorer, to the same sharepoint site via the webclient is the date preserved, the date is the same ...
