Two-way, with "Detect Moved files" ticked. In the SFTP vs Samba test, the config files were copies of each other with only the server path changed.

Hi, Do these filter rules do what you want?
As I understand it FFS builds a list of files first from the include rules, and then removes any files matching the exclude rules. So you can delete the '*' wildcard and specify just the subfolders you want, with no need to explicitly exclude any unwanted ...

SFTP doesn't detect renames
Hi, I noticed that FFS doesn't seem to be detecting renamed files on my SFTP server. Timestamps are being read correctly, and syncing to the same folder on the same server via Samba works as expected. Any ideas? Many thanks, Tim

For the past 3 years I have been using Goodsync. So far it has cost me $30 for 3 years of ad-free updates.
FreeFileSync's listed donation rate is Eur50 for 2 years. This message is just to remark that the high price of FFS is keeping me from donating.
