The per-month price for 1 year and 2 years are identical (2.08 euro, or $2.44), so what incentive is there for someone to pay for 2 years up front? I will check for a new version when I feel like doing so. I don't want to be nagged every time I start the program if I've chosen not to update the last time I started it. How do I turn this off?

Just installed 8.6, and there are now file type icons next to every file in both panes. This is a waste of space and of no use; how do I get rid of them? I see nothing in the options to control this.
