Re: Donation Version

What address does the email link come from? I haven't received any email from FreeFileSync.

Re: Donation Version

I also made a donation in April this year, but I've received no acknowledgement and no advice on how to access the donation version.

Re: Sort alphabetically

Hi Plerry,

Thanks very much indeed for this advice. It appears I haven't properly understood how to use the program. This may solve the issue in an unexpected way and bring other benefits as well!

Thanks so much!

Re: Sort alphabetically

Hi Plerry,

Thanks again for your reply. Unfortunately I do have a very large number of left right pairs and so sorting manually is not practical.

Thanks Charlie

Re: Sort alphabetically

Thanks very much for your reply Plerry, but I'm not sure that I follow. Or perhaps I haven't explained properly. When you say "compare result window" do you mean the window below where the folders are listed? It currently says "relative path" but, as you point out, can be changed...

Folder pairs: sort alphabetically

Re: Delete Files In Origin Destination

Hi Zenju, Thanks very much for your reply. That's right, I want to delete the files in a folder after they have been copied to the destination folder (and keep the origin folder). So I guess this means it can't be done since the path can only be set in the global comparison settings, not the local c...

Re: Delete Files In Origin Destination

I would like to do this too. I don't understand the advice to have two FFS runs with the second having an empty source directory though. Wouldn't this require manually deleting the contents to have the empty source? This is what I would like to automate. It would seem simpler to just use the facilit...

Feature Request - Cut and paste

Hi,

Thanks for this great program!

I would like to suggest that, in addition to copying files from location to another, that it would be very useful (for me anyway!) to be able to select the option to cut and paste instead.

Thanks,
Charlie
