Hm, but isn't the whole point of "Run whether user is logged on or not" that Windows starts the process in the user's account, using the stored credentials?

I have tried switching back to FFS 8.7, but that did not help. Could it be related to how the task is set up in the scheduler? I have set up a FreeFileSync batch script to run minimized. I have also scheduled a task to run that batch script via the Windows task scheduler.
