I looked through the topic you mentioned and it was of no help to me. I don't even know what a SAMBA is.

Recently I've been getting the following error on lots of files which I am backing up. As a result they don't get backed up.

Cannot write file attributes of "file name"
Error Code 1: Incorrect function. [DeviceIoControl, FSCTL_SET_SPARSE]

Does anyone know how to correct this?
