Re: Date and time stamps
Not sure I follow completely. You now have your drive connected via USB directly? Yes, the USB drive now is connected to a USB 3.0 port on my Windows 10 computer. Previously, when I was having this problem, the same USB drive was connected to a USB 3.0 the on the NAS. Hope you can get to the bottom...

Re: Date and time stamps
I think I solved this, actually. I had my backup drive connected directly to a USB port on my NAS because I did not have an unfilled USB port on my computer. I disconnected a printer cable and plugged the USB drive into my computer. Once I did this, FFS copied over the proper file timestamps, althou...

I could compare by file size or content, but I have no idea how that would affect processing time. I am going to delete agai...

Re: One-way synchronization not working with one of several drives
Okay, this is worse than I imagined. I deleted all of the files on the backup drive and then ran a sync from the NAS to that drive. It took a day and a half to create the new set of files on the backup. Immediately after finishing, I ran another sync to confirm that the datasets were identical. Unfo...

One-way synchronization not working with one of several drives
I am backing up from two Synology NAS folders to a number of other network drives, one-way synchronizing from the NAS to each of the other drives. Generally, this has been working well, but I noticed that, for the last few weeks, there are many more files being copied to the USB drive that is attach...
