I deleted all the filter items and then I got a total that corresponded to the difference between the Source and Target folders.

ok, if I go into folder options and unclick Hide protected system operating files I can then see the Thumbs in the source folder.

That still leaves the other 541 files that I have no clue about what and where they are

Can you elaborate, I do not understand.
I did find that when I clicked on filter and removed Thumbs.db the numbers changed. The source folder has 1107 of those but that is not the total difference. There are still 541 more files in the source folder

I do not see how to check for errors. Long file paths- I do not think there are any greater than 260 characters. Drilling down to individual folders means comparing each folder and the files in it ? That would take forever w over 3400 folders.

I ran this software for the 1st time yesterday. It took a little over 19 hrs. When I right clicked each folder and selected properties I got different results. Folder qty was equal but file qty was 1558 more in the original folder
Any thoughts as to why ?
