Hi Zenju, thank you for your time.
I read the posts but don't understand how to fix.
I have WIndows 10 x64 and the path is C:\Program Files\FreeFileSync.
Would you tell me how to fix?

FFS 14.6 issues with RTS
I updated to FFS 14.6 last Friday, I do manual backups every Friday.
So today I notice all 3 of my RealTimeSync files are gone from the system tray.
Does anyone know why they would just disappear?
Thanks!

Re: Error: Cannot rename *.ffs_tmp to sync.ffs_db
Thank you for that. It does seem to be working better.Tested.
The feature works fine, no errors for me. I'm using a Samsung S23 Ultra and FFS 15.5

Error: Cannot rename *.ffs_tmp to sync.ffs_db
I have been successfully using FFS to back up pictures and such from my phone until a recent Samsung OS update.
Now I am getting this error but it 'seems' like FFS is backing up the files but I'm wondering if I'm losing something because of this error. Does anyone have any insight?

Errors E_WPD_DEVICE_IS_HUNG:
I am seeing a new error when syncing to my Samsung phone which had a recent Samsung OS update. I have FFS version 14.4 on a Windows 10 PC. I have no clue what is causing this, all I know is that everything was working before.
The log shows 7 of these E_WPD_DEVICE_IS_HUNG errors:

Re: Flat versus tree file structure
Yes please give us an option to use the previous layout before 10.25 Tree View.
I updated last night, is there a quick way to revert back to the previous version?

Re: Updated and now screen hard to read
I did the same, updating to 10.25, now tonight I am looking everywhere on how to set the VIEW back to they way it was. The new view is very confusing to me and I like to review the files that are being deleted before just pushing the button.
Please someone show how to set the Tree View OFF or tell ...

Re: Cannot move file to sync.ffs_db... Access is denied
I'm happy to find the solution to my problem, hopefully this can help someone down the line.
It turns out that the external 2TB HDD set as a share attached to my router had some 'indexing' errors that CHKDSK found and resolved.

Thank you for the response, I tried that, disabling Norton auto-protect, but FFS throws the same error.

Re: Path to iCloud Drive?
I haven't used this function yet but looks like all that is needed are the cloud credentials (see attached).
