Yes please give us an option to use the previous layout before 10.25 Tree View.

I'm happy to find the solution to my problem, hopefully this can help someone down the line. It turns out that the external 2TB HDD set as a share attached to my router had some 'indexing' errors that CHKDSK found and resolved. So far everything I had set up in FFS is now back to normal and running ...

Thank you for the response, I tried that, disabling Norton auto-protect, but FFS throws the same error.
