I've used Lockhunter on it again, and it's now apparently running in its own context, not under System.

AV is fine with it. I had to download lockhunter to delete the file on reboot before I could get rid of it. It said that FreeFileSync.exe was running under System, which is why I couldn't delete it.

I've now managed to install successfully, but..

I made a donation before downloading, but I don't ...

Just downloaded 10.20.

Ran the install routine. It gets about 10% of the way through and then says it can't create a file that already exists.
The file it apparently can't create is FreeFileSync.exe!

It's apparently created a file that I can delete, rename, or remove in any way. I suspect ...

I made a donation, and downloaded 10.1 Donation Edition: it won't install.
I've downloaded 10.2, which again nagged me for a donation.

If I can't get the donation edition, that will be my last donation. I've donated several times before, never had an issue like this.

I've rebooted, and I've managed to install 10.1 in the original folder. I then made a donation and downloaded the new file, but that has the same problem ...

I've followed the update link from 9.8 - it downloaded 10.1, *said* it had installed it, but when I started FFS it was still 9.8 - I've even tried to install to a different path, again it claims to have completed the installation, but the new folder is not created and nothing is updated.
