Does FFS only execute syncs in the sequence listed? I.e. do not start sync for the 2nd folder pair until the first is finished, and so on.... or does it use multiple threads and execute some pairs simultaneously (my suspicion)?

This a feature of OneDrive - if you access a file - it gets downloaded and kept in Sync (see the settings I attached) - you can switch this on or off. I presume as FFS accesses the file - it will get downloaded. Suggested you filter out any OneDrive folders that you don't want downloaded. onedrivese...
