In my case viewtopic.php?t=5814&p=19224#p19224 I am pretty sure they have the identical device serial number as hey are identical TrueCrypt containers stored in different places.
However this does not happen with 10.1 ( i skipped the 10.5)

FreeFileSync_10.6 cannot index drives
I had two folders pair, that were syncing with no problems up to v10.4, but after installing v10.6 I get the error below... To me it does not make any sense, but I may have no capacity to understand the error...although it appears to say " Why are you copying so many folders at once" "...
