I would like to activate comparison by content, but then it plummets due to IO on small files.
What if, we first compare timestamps, and then go to content comparison?
And maybe try that until the first failure (if that's not the case already)?

Two-way star sync
I have a "server" and two (at the moment) locations. I want to work on the files, and always have the latest versions synced.
At the moment, I am not editing the files concurrently*, but I cannot ensure that I sync with the "server".
Is it possible that I can keep everything on the newest version ...
