With my Windows Client Service turned off I always connect now using CIFS/SMB
and every thing works fast and I have no problem with the ffs_tmp files. I am
convinced now that webdav as implemented by the My Book Live NAS has problems.
I should not be seeing these .DAV folders any more anyway now ...

Got more info. It appears that my NAS supports WebDav and that in windows 7
for some reason likes to use the WebClient network service instead which
causes the slower WebDav to be used. I am going to try disabling WebClient
service next.

When I run Free File Sync as Admin I see the .DAV Folders. When I don't run as
Admin I do not. Is FreeFileSync using a different API as Admin (Maybe Volume

I tried a second time and got no errors. This is a new external My Book Live
NAS so I am sure the device is acting wierd. I do notice something else odd

I forgot to mention the 1st retry always works. Is there a way to auto retry?
On 1,630 files this happened about 10 times over a period of about 30 mins.
Most files are small.
