I restarted everything and when I went to compare the drives again it said they were sync'd so I called it a day. Thanks anyway!

i was trying to sync two external hard drives.

I tried running ffsync on a different group of drives and there was no problem.

My ffsync makes a '2' version of the drive when it gives me that error. How do I fix this???

I've been using ff sync for years and just now got this error. Then it wants to write to a 'hard drive name '2'' location. what's up with this?

Has anyone gotten the permissions errors when doing a simple mirroring of one hard drive to another on their mac of Cannot open directory, for spotlight v100, document revisions v100,.temporary items, and .trashes? Does not having these indexes cause any problems in the mirrored copy?

Can someone please explain why I keep getting this error code? this software is useless if I can't get past this.
