How to STOP RealTime Sync?

I tried doing some real time synchronization using an existing .ffs_batch file that I added to the RealTime Sync window. My question is how can I STOP the real time synchronization for this particular batch file? I don't see anything relevant in the RealTime Sync window to cancel/stop it from contin...

Based on my experience with my drives in total, I have my doubts about this as a cause of the problem, but it's worth trying your suggestion the next time that it occurs.

Re: Mysterious error on synchronization

I used the "Browse" option in Synchronization Settings. This error doesn't appear always. I wonder if it's a problem with my USB hub to which the external disk is attached.

Mysterious error on synchronization

I'm trying to do a mirror synchronization to an external disk and I get an error "ERROR_NO_SUCH_DEVICE: A device which does not exist was specified. [DirReaderPlus::readDir->c000000e]" text.

Pressing "Retry" has no effect.

Re: Feature request : faster content comparison

I did a synchronization earlier of over 100000 files and the comparison was done in a very short time. It seemed to me to be about 10 to 15 seconds. That’s pretty fast in my opinion. However, if there’s room for improvement then I’m all for it.

Re: Sync only folders

You can try the following: Xcopy with the /T switch

/T Creates directory structure, but does not copy files. Does not
include empty directories or subdirectories. /T /E includes
empty directories and subdirectories.

Not tested by me.

Re: Jobs confusion

As a new (returning from the past) user I'm happy that there is some discussion about organizing the synchronization jobs. I have been using another synchronization software for the last few years where this facility existed and it did make my life easier as I have around 20 different synchronizatio...

Versions folders per synchronization task?

I'm a returning FFS user after many years since I last used it and I'm now finding my way how to configure it. I created about 20 tasks for various purposes and I wish to apply versioning. However, I wonder if there's a way to keep the backed up files in an easy to retrieve way, per backup task, tha...

How to use FFS Pro to move files between drives?

I would like to use FFS Pro to move files from a specific directory (including its subdirectories) from one drive to another. I would then want to delete the files in the source directory (and its subdirectories) and I'll create a second backup of the moved files from their new destination elsewhere...

Re: How to set synchronization paths

Thanks for the advice. Unless I'm doing something wrong, I notice that the Mirror option will create the folder or ask to create the specific folder as you wrote, but not the whole path on the destination directory. I'm trying to do three things: (a) recreate the complete path of the source director...
