I've set a sound in the settings menu for "Sync completed" but it never plays. The file scan completed sound does play, but not the sync completed sound.

Yes, and yes. I always check the letters before syncing, and yes the view filters are set up correctly, that's one of the things I checked. Also, due to the way the sync is set up, it should detect a large amount of things to sync if the letters are incorrect. But they are.

Lol yes, I checked that, but they also haven't changed since the last time, and additionally I could observe the sync.ffs_db files getting re-created.

I think it would be a useful piece of information to know. There could be a delay of 1s or so, to prevent glitchy animations and prevent large overhead when a lot of small files are being processed. There's currently no indicator of the progress of the current file in the progress window, so for large files it would be nice to know how far along it's got. I was thinking a green underlay behind the filename at the top, similar to Windows Explorer's loading animation.
