Re: Freefile sync bitdefender infected
"ai Score=82" Seems like our AI overlords did not accept the FFS 11.8 offering. Whatever. Just re-released and bundled with the 11.7 launcher. I have no time for this AV nonsense . PS: *No code changes* at all between 11.7 and 11.8 for this file. Only an update to the latest Visual Studio...

Re: Freefile sync bitdefender infected
the updated signature is blocking install completely now
it's detecting "FreeFileSync.exe" in the installer temp files

Error: command failed
Error: Command "C:\Path\To\Folder\" failed. Exit code 1: 'C:\Path\To\Folder\' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I have a FFS batch file with a folder path as the post sync command. It would open up the folder after the batch job is done....

Re: desktop.ini not detected
Ah, tyvm! I'll look around. It's HashCheck Shell Extension, but don't recommend it to you since does not work with long paths. There is better software for that. carbone, 21 Apr 2020, 09:08what did you use to add a checksums tab to the properties window? florentine, 20 Apr 2020, 22:00

Re: Suppress warning in log?
This is the warning: Warning: Some files will be synchronized as part of multiple base folders. To avoid conflicts, set up exclude filters so that each updated file is included by only one base folder. G:\Destination The sync is setup like this in the same FFS batch file: Main config Include: *.* Ex...

Suppress warning in log?
Is there a way to suppress a particular warning (so, not all warnings, just chosen ones) in the logfile? I have two identical folder pairs in a sync operation, but they exclude different sets of child folders in order to use different settings. I always get a warning in the logfile about it. Is it p...

Re: Revert to text log files!
I also just noticed that the icon images are being hotlinked directly from the FFS website. It's not even saving a local copy with the installation! This is a complete waste of bandwidth for FFS AND creates privacy implications since every time anybody opens the log in a browser it will ping the FFS...

Revert to text log files!
I just installed the latest 10.20 update and found out that the log files have inexplicably been converted to HTML format. This is an absolutely baffling change. HTML is horribly inefficient to store data nor is it even meant for that purpose in the first place! Please revert to text logs or if you ...
