Hey sorry. I guess I didn’t realize the email function stopped working once the donation time period had ended.

I recently had this issue when I first got freefilesync donation edition. Zenju replied and fixed it I believe?

The issue seems to have cropped back up. I get a 500 server error cannot send email. Is this something I’m doing, or how do I fix it?

I did notice my donation time period had expired. Do I need to keep the time period alive to utilize the email feature?

I tried using the email notification feature in 10.20. But get a 500 internal server error from FFS. My email is correct. Is there something I need to do differently or some additional setup? Do I need to sign into my mail client on my MacBook?

any ideas on how to resolve this? I just got Free file sync so its entirely possible its my fault. but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I entered my correct email address but I still get the 500 error pictured.

Do I need to setup my mail client on the computer?
